A Day in the Life

(VIP) VETERANS IN PIPE PROGRAM

The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry (UA) has partnered with the U.S. Military to create the UA Veterans in piping (VIP) program. This program is now widely recognized as a model for training and job placement for military men and women exiting the service. The VIP program is on seven military bases around the country, service members who complete the program are guaranteed placement in a local union, as well as a job leading to a lucrative career.

H2H – HELMETS TO HARDHATS

Helmets to Hardhats was created by the Center for Military Recruitment, Assessment, and Veterans Employment, to help transition military heroes into successful civilian careers in the building trades.
